Nurturing Your Child’s Mental & Intellectual wellbeing
In the second part of our Pancha Kosha Series, we dive into the Manomaya Kosha (mental sheath) and Vijnanamaya Kosha (intellectual sheath). At Namo Bharati Vidyalay, a pre-school gurukul in Bengaluru, we help your child develop emotional resilience and intellectual curiosity through Indian wisdom, ensuring they grow into confident, thoughtful individuals.
What are the Manomaya and Vijnanamaya Koshas?
“We experience feelings of happiness, joy, compassion, peace, sadness, irritability, anger, etc. through the emotional part of this kosha or vehicle.. Manomaya Kosha
Inner to the Manomaya kosha is the Vijnanamaya kosha. Vijnana means knowing. Buddhi or intellect with its modifications and the five organs of knowledge, having the characteristics of the agent constitutes the Vijnanamaya Kosha or the knowledge-sheath. It knows, decides, judges, and discriminates between this and that, between useful and not useful. Vijnanamaya Kosha
